Farmers at PFC receive access to agricultural and farm business education through workshops, mentorship, and technical assistance.

Mentorship and Technical Assistance
PFC’s staff mentors and farmers are available 7 days of the week on the farm to support farmers. Farmers are encouraged to make appointments with PFC staff to answer farm and business questions and receive assistance on items such as business planning, logo creation, marketing, crop planning, pest and weed management, among other offerings.
PFC staff work with Cornell Cooperative Extension specialists in vegetables, livestock, and small farm business to provide technical assistance to farmers in both the Incubator Farm and Community Farm Programs.
Other Educational Support
PFC farmers have opportunities to attend educational events hosted by local and state program partners, local farm tours, and regional and national conferences specific to farming and agriculture.
