Farmers at PFC receive access to agricultural and farm business education through workshops, mentorship, and technical assistance.

Mentorship and Technical Assistance
PFC’s staff mentors and farmers are available 7 days of the week on the farm to support farmers. Farmers are encouraged to make appointments with PFC staff to answer farm and business questions and receive assistance on items such as business planning, logo creation, marketing, crop planning, pest and weed management etc.
Cornell Cooperative Extension specialists on vegetables, livestock, and small farm business are available for mentorship and technical assistance at PFC regularly throughout the growing season. Specialist visits and field walks are posted on the PFC calendar in the barn.
Other Educational Support
Other educational opportunities for PFC’s farmers include educational events hosted by program partners, local farm tours, and occasional farm conferences.
