Providence Farm Collective Farmers’ Market is a vibrant and bustling marketplace that showcases the best in local, sustainable, and artisanal goods. As we continue to expand and grow, we are excited to welcome new vendors to join us in this endeavor!

We are currently accepting applications from vendors in a variety of categories, including gourmet foods, goods, baked goods, and artisanal goods. If you are passionate about your craft and are interested in being a part of our community, we encourage you to follow the link below and fill out our simple application.

Providence Farm Collective Farmers’ Market Policy

The purpose of this document is to provide you with a better understanding of your responsibilities, expectations, and consequences. Market participants commit to the entire market season unless other scheduling is noted in the application. Participants that repeatedly arrive late or miss market days will be removed at the discretion of Market Management. Contact us with any questions or concerns. Please read these rules carefully. Please return a signed copy of the vendor application and market policy.

Vendors agree to:
Pay a seasonal fee $60.00 reimbursed upon market season completion.

Attendance
***The use of the market is restricted to vendors/farmers approved by Providence Farm Collective.
Arrive early with enough time to be completely set up before start time, wait to tear down until market end time.
Minimum of one person manning the stand at all times.
There will be one hour for set-up and clean-up prior to and after market hours.

***First time vendors may attend the three (3) beginning farmers market workshops and all three (3) advanced farmers market workshops (optional )
Attend all market days unless otherwise noted
For the success and growth of the market, market hours and season attendance must be followed. Vendors who are unable to attend the market for the entire market time period must have prior approval from the market manager. Violations may lead to suspension.
The market will take place rain or shine, please plan accordingly.
Non-PFC vendors must provide their own canopies/tents, tables and chairs

Produce/Product Sales and Regulation
Adhere to price minimums
All products must be clearly labeled and priced
Vendors Must Accept SNAP/EBT benefits , WIC and Senior checks for eligible products

Rules of Operation
Vendors are responsible for transporting their own produce and market materials
PFC plans to bring to market tents and tables for PFC farmers vendors weekly. Non-PFC vendors should bring their own tents, tables and chairs every market day.
Keep stand presentable and clean up everything at market completion (no trash!!)
PFC farmers vendors work with PFC to create a sign(s) for your stand.
Farmers will have access to PFC’s walk-in cooler.
Vendors are expected to treat customers in a courteous manner. No discrimination is permitted.

***All vendors must have and use weights for all tents used at the market

***Amplified music is not permitted unless part of entertainment sponsored by the market

Sign a liability release waiver
I understand that due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, I must follow a certain specific protocol to keep myself and others safe including, but not limited to: Staying home when unwell and securing healthy staff to manage the tent. Masking when necessary. Encouraging social distancing between customers, etc.

Media Policy
The market is a public place and is often visited by media personnel and reporters. Vendors can decline being photographed, and it is at their discretion to answer questions or participate in interviews. If a vendor/market participant communicates with the public/media, he or she is required to inform market management so that appropriate personnel can be informed and prepared to take any necessary follow-up action.

Non-Compliance
Market management reserves the right to dismiss any vendor/participant and/or remove any product being sold that does not adhere to the rules and regulations as outlined in this document. Consequences for violating PFC market rules and regulations and operating guidelines will result in the following:
First Offense: Verbal warning
Second Offense: Written warning
Third Offense: Suspension from market
Fourth Offense: Termination from market

Release of Indemnification
As a vendor, wishing to participate in the Farmers Market, I (we) agree to SAVE, HOLD HARMLESS and INDEMNIFY the Farmers Market, its sponsoring agency, members and employees from any and all liability or responsibility pertaining to any damages to person or property on the sited assigned to me (us) by the Farmers Market, when such damages or liability arise out of acts on my (our) own, or of my (our)employees or associates, located as such site.
I (we) understand that the Farmers Market operates on limited funds. I (we) also acknowledge that the Farmers Market’s beneficial purpose will be impossible to pursue if it is subjected to costly litigation. Wherefore I (we) hereby agree that as a condition of my participation in the Farmers Market, I (we) will resort to litigation against the Farmers Market, its officers, management, and affiliated entities, only after attempting in good faith to resolve the dispute. I (we) to limit any claim I (we) may have as a result of a decision by the Farmers Market management or Board of Directors which results in the denial of a market acceptance, the denial of a product to sell, or wrongful suspension or termination from the Farmers Market, to a return of market fees incurred during my (our) absence from the market. I (we) further agree that in the event I (we) am unsuccessful in my (our) litigation against the Farmers Market, I (we) will pay all costs, expenses, fees, and disbursements incurred by the Farmers Market in the course of its defense of said litigation, and I (we) will also pay the Farmers Market a reasonable attorney’s fees.

***All vendor complaints regarding rules and regulations must be directed to the Markets Manager and Farm Director or Board President.
